THATCH ROOF HANDICRAFTS TECHNICAL PROCESS

Material :

• Thatch  grass
• Bamboo stick
• Palm string
• Bamboo string

Making Process :

• Thatch grass pick-up from garden
• Natural drying of the thatch grass till meet with the drying standard
• Cleaning the thatch grass and make more smooth
• Fumigate the bamboo & thatch from insect.
• Rinse the material until well dry
• Craft the thatch round the bamboo stick to make the thatch roof
• Re-drying of ready thatch roof before storage or packing using natural drying system
• Store the thatch roof in clean storage
• The thatch roof is ready for packing and shipping

Finishing
The thatch roof is natural finish by handmade and doing by our local Balinese people. All material are well fumigate before processing the roof.

• Flexible Thatch Roof size : 200 - 250 x 2 x 90 cm with pipe stick
• Flexible round Thatch roof size : 500 x 2 x 90 cm in plain position with palm string holder.
